^-^Shao Zenghu was born in Jixi, Anhui province in 1937 and graduated from the oil painting department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1962. After graduation he served in the Guangzhou Military as a professional painter and retired in 1998. Now he is a grade-one national artist who enjoys governmental allowance.
He was the director of China Artists Association, a member of oil painting art committee of China Artists Association, the director of China Oil Painting Society, vice chairman of Guangdong Artists Association, the director of oil painting art committee of Guangdong Artists Association, chairman of Guangdong Oil Painting Society.
